Why this works
Songwriting is where music becomes your story and these sessions are built for practical progress, not theory. You’ll be working in a well-equipped private studio setup (instruments, pro plugins and recording tools ready to go), so ideas can move fast from “rough concept” to something you can actually listen back to.
We’ll shape lyrics, melody and structure, build the music around it, and record rough vocals where it helps. You’ll leave with an audio file of our progress and clear next steps to keep momentum between sessions.
There’s something uniquely nourishing about writing a song, putting real feeling into words and music you can share.

No. These sessions work for complete beginners through to experienced writers. If you’re new, I’ll guide the process step-by-step. If you already write, I can adapt my approach to suit your preferences and strengths.

Yes - it’s a great gift. You can purchase now and sessions can be arranged at a later date at a time that suits them.

Sessions are in Sowerby Bridge (HX6 postcode). Exact address and arrival details are sent after booking.

If you have any of these, bring them:
voice notes, lyrics, chords, or a rough demo
reference songs (even just 1–3 tracks you love the vibe of)
If you have nothing prepared, no problem — we can start from scratch.

You’ll leave with:
an audio export (“demo-in-progress”) of what we created in the session
clear next steps so you can keep momentum between sessions
(If you book a bundle, we build on the same song(s) across sessions unless you ask otherwise.)

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule.
Less than 48 hours’ notice may be treated as a used session (or a 50% rebooking fee) depending on circumstances.
If you’re unwell, just tell me — we’ll be sensible about it.
